My consulting efforts with the Friendship Center has allowed me to stay close to the community of Santa Barbara. I serve on the event committee, and offer help in the form of designing graphic elements, press releases, securing luxury travel auction items, and other business development strategies. The Friendship Center is an adult memory care day program, the only privately funded model of its kind in the country.

I gave the keynote address and curated the largest live acution item at The Festival of Hearts in 2024 at the Rosewood Miramar Beach. Prior to the event, I spoke to the press and my story was featured on the local news. My keynote was published in the Montecito Journal, read it here.
